History

Get Better Academy was founded in 2013 in Prague, Czech Republic. Our mission is to individually develop our players based on their goals and provide them with opportunities to sign a professional contract or receive a full scholarship to an American University.

Over the years GBA became a European destination for maximizing basketball talent as national team players from Serbia, Spain, Latvia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Estonia, Ireland, Bahamas, Israel, Poland, and other countries have joined the academy, seeking skill development and better basketball future. In 2019 academy united with the professional club Basket Jindrichuv Hradec and created an environment where players can take advantage of entirely professional conditions and explode into the highest levels of basketball.

Get Better Academy accomplishments

• In 8 years signed 50 players to scholarships in USA
• In 8 years signed 10 players to professional contracts, including to Euroleague teams.
• Cholet Mondial 34th Tournament champions
• Adidas Next Generation Euroleague participant in 2017 and 2018
• Czech U17 and U19 Champions (2016)
• Czech U19 & Men´s 1. League Champions (2019)
• Czech U19 Champions (2022)
• Since 2013 every season F4 participant and medal winner in the Czech Republic
